The Energy Generators series starts out by introducing Timmy the Turbine. Timmy the Turbine is an offshore turbine, whose friends help him figure out what his job it. It is a wonderfully engaging story for 6–8-year-olds.
The series will expand to explore many different renewable energy technologies, and perhaps more.
Timmy the Turbine is a wonderfully engaging story for 6–8-year-olds. Written to be read out loud, it describes the coming of age of a little wind turbine that is now grown up enough to go out into the world and start his lifetime’s job of making energy from the wind for us humans to use.
The book brings to life the concept of how offshore wind provides electricity with colourful and engaging characters each one beautifully illustrated.

The Activity book contains a series of activities guided by characters from ‘Timmy Ventures Out’. The activities range from word search and colouring to logic puzzles and baking. Can you help the characters with their puzzles?
Participants develop understanding of renewable energy and electricity, as well as numbers, language and reasoning.
